DCS Camera Gateway
Description
Several DCS-camera-gateways can be operated in series or wired in a star configuration. Thus it is possible to have several freely selected areas in view with one home station, such as the courtyard entrance, back door or the frontal view of the entrance area. In this way the Gira DCS-camera-gateway makes door communication more convenient and at the same time increases security within your home.
In the past, a maximum of three cameras could be connected per door station. By using several DCS-camera-gateway, now more than three cameras can also be connected to one door station. The Gira DCS-camera-gateway can be operated with or without an assigned door station. If the external camera is assigned to a door station, the door call automatically activates the camera. For operation without a door station, the camera picture can be switched on manually using the home station.
An adapter cable is included for cameras with BNC connection. The Gira DCS-camera-gateway can be installed surface-mounted, flush-mounted or on a top-hat rail using the provided DRA adapter. The connection of camera and gateway is via a BNC plug connection, and communication via FBAS. Assignment of the door station is simply by pressing a button. The gateway features a micro push button and control LED for this purpose.
