New Zennio MiniBox 0-10V Actuators
The new Zennio MiniBox 0-10V actuators extend the popular MiniBox series with 3 variants in 2 DIN module widths providing 1,2 or 3 channels configurable as 0-10 V outputs, 0-10 V inputs or 4-20 mA inputs. This flexible device can be used as a 0-10V controller for various BMS or mechanical applications. Depending on the version, each channel can be configured individually or jointly to control 2-pipe or 4-pipe fan coils where the fan and valves are controlled with 0-10 V signals.
Manual control is available using the push buttons and each channel’s status is shown via the LED indicator.
Like most Zennio actuators and devices the MiniBox series includes 10 logic functions using the ETS configurable logic settings that allow for reasonably complex input, output, trigger and action options to be easily created for simple operand type logic. We love to recommend this as a simple solution to logic problems where there is no centralised processor or logic controller, it is built into the module and, so long as the integrator makes it clear where to find this logic in the future when the configuration is revisited, it’s a perfect solution.
Each module also contains 1, 2 or 3 thermostats (depending on the number of outputs) with all of the full functionality we expect from the Zennio thermostat calculations. The configuration is straightforward and comprehensive with a full feature set that can either be used as a thermostat function for control of the minibox outputs or, as a remote thermostat function where the temperature measurement and control are being performed by other devices on the bus.
All in all, these are a welcome addition to the Zennio range of actuators.
