Series CALA from Elsner

The Elsner Cala series of intelligent controls for KNX Smart Building are easy to install into any 55 series switch format. 55 series is a European format utilising 55 mm frames as a common switch format.

Elsner’s Cala room controllers, sensors and pushbuttons are compatible with all 55 series applications. Available in deep black RAL 9005 and pure white RAL 9010, the inserts match many standard frame designs from other 55 series manufacturers. A range of elegant and versatile glass surfaces are also available to accompany Elsner’s Cala series.

Elsner Cala KNX controls are all powered from the KNX bus and only require KNX TP cable connection.

The Elsner Cala Touch KNX display can replace several push buttons, for lighting, shading and room temperature control applications. Integrated sensors can automatically help to ensure a comfortable room ambience.

Color display with touch surface: Operates lighting, shading, windows, heating, air conditioning, and scenes (adjustable). Displays values and texts.

User interfaces: Up to 3 for lighting (switching or dimming with current value display); setting page for RGB color and color temperature.

Biodynamic lighting control (human-centric lighting).

Shading and window control: Up to 3 interfaces with current position/slat position display.

Heating and climate control interface.

Scene control: Interfaces for up to 4 scenes.

Display pages: For own measured values, up to 4 bus values, and two text display pages.

Weekly timer: With 8 time periods.

Screen saver: Shows time or indoor/outdoor temperature.

Inputs: 4 inputs (binary or for temperature sensor T-NTC), connecting cable for inputs is supplied.

Additional features: Mixed value calculation, adjustable threshold values, logic gates (8 AND/8 OR), 8 multifunctional modules for calculations, conditions, transitions, 4 actuating variable comparators, summer compensation for cooling.
