The new Intesis INKNXUNI001I200 is the first KNX Data Secure-certified universal IR gateway—designed to integrate any infrared-controlled air conditioning unit into a KNX system with full bi-directional communication.

This new release addresses a key gap in the market. It’s fully certified for KNX Data Secure, enabling encrypted communication that meets the latest security standards across residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. As secure communication becomes a requirement for all subsystems—including HVAC—this gateway offers future-ready compliance in a simple, ETS-configurable package.

Unlike legacy IR gateways or proprietary AC controls, this product is brand-agnostic, secure, and built for professionals:

Universal IR compatibility: Supports nearly any IR-based AC unit via an Autolearn function that selects the correct code from an extensive IR database.
Bi-directional IR communication: Enables KNX to both control the AC unit and receive feedback—something rarely seen in IR-based systems.
ETS configuration with DCA: Fully integrated into the KNX ETS programming tool. No additional software or proprietary gateways needed.
Built-in binary inputs: Two inputs can be used for occupancy sensors, window contacts, or pulse meters—allowing local logic without extra KNX I/O devices.
Integrated temperature sensor: Provides environmental data without requiring a separate KNX sensor.
Scene support: Trigger up to 10 predefined scenes for comfort, energy savings, or automation routines.
