New ceiling-mounted versions for Theben’s LUXA 103 KNX – same smart tech, now even more discreet

The reliable LUXA 103 KNX presence detector is now available in a flush-mounted ceiling version – perfect for when you want solid performance without a visible footprint. Whether you're planning lighting automation for an office, corridor or common space, this sleek new option blends right in while still delivering on precision and efficiency.

Two versions:

LUXA 103 S360-12 KNX UP – circular detection, up to Ø 12 m at 3 m height. Ideal for individual offices, open-plan areas, bathrooms and storage rooms.
LUXA 103 S360-28 KNX UP – rectangular detection, 28 x 5 m at 3 m height. Great fit for corridors and hallways.

Both come with two channels for lighting or HVAC control, three logic channels, a temperature sensor, and the ability to manage day/night settings separately (with independent lux levels and delays).

Installation just got easier too:
These new models now feature spring clips, meaning you no longer need a separate back box. The angled terminal connections also make wiring simpler, and configuration can be done via the theSenda Plug app or ETS – whichever suits your workflow best.

Bonus: they’re IP54 rated, so they’re suitable even for damp spaces like changing rooms or restrooms.
