Intesis 700 Series Air: Compact Solutions for HVAC Control
We are pleased to share an exciting update about Intesis 700 Series Air.
Some new gateways have just been added to the range, targeted to extra-small installations. Intesis 700 Series Air is now the ideal solution for small residential buildings or commercial spaces that contain up to 4 indoor AC units.
The original Intesis 700 Series Air gateways are designed for up to 16 indoor AC units and now these new extra-small gateways allow you to provide more tailored and cost-effective solutions to your clients, using the same great Intesis 700 Series Air technology.
A Common Platform for HVAC Control and Energy Efficiency
The Intesis 700 Series Air serves as a unified platform for HVAC control and energy management. Three new gateways have been introduced, each offering distinct communication capabilities:
- IN770-AIR: Enables the integration of multiple HVAC brands into BACnet, Modbus, KNX, or home automation systems.
- IN771-AIR: Allows the integration of Panasonic VRF units into BACnet, Modbus, KNX, or home automation systems.
- IN776-MHI: Supports Mitsubishi Heavy Industries HVAC systems.
Key Benefits of the Intesis 700 Series Air
- Easy Setup: Using Intesis MAPS software.
- Stock-Friendly: Multiple protocol combinations available within each hardware unit.
- Reliability: Developed with full support from all leading HVAC manufacturers.
- Scalable Control: Manage up to 128 indoor units, depending on the model, with direct access to the outdoor unit bus.
- Certification: International and local certifications to help ensure global compatibility.
This new approach from Intesis to HVAC control reduces the number of order codes and increases configuration flexibility, making it easier for distributors to build stock and simplify order code management. Integrators can also configure their gateways with new applications using the Intesis MAPS configuration tool.
One of the main advantages of the 700 Series Air is its ability to calculate and monitor the energy consumption of each indoor unit and enable integration into the BMS or control system for energy efficiency. By identifying which indoor units are consuming more energy than necessary, building owners or managers can optimise their energy consumption, resulting in reduced energy bills and lower carbon emissions. It also helps facility managers identify units that may require maintenance, preventing costly repairs and extending the lifespan of HVAC equipment.
By simplifying management and enhancing capabilities, Intesis is setting a new standard for modern building systems.
